i graduated from UC Berkeley with a CS and Physics double degree
A thesis of mine is that the value of most product engineering is going to zero, what matters much more is 1. growth and 2. architecting reliable, well-designed, lasting systems. In other words, whether you can get people to actually care about what you're building and whether you can steer AI to build beautiful systems and products built on top rather than slop.
I'm now obsesssed with using my experience in growth and building for the user to architect beautiful core systems that enable delightful products.
